Die App.ist Super.die gleiche Auswahl wie auf der Website und dazu kann man noch die Übertragung im UMTS und Edge einstellen um den Datenverbrauch zu reduzieren.Man muss sich nur registrieren entweder auf der Website oder in der App per Freeaccount.

Mir gefällt die App sehr. Die Auswahl der einzelnen Kanäle ist riesig. Für jeden Metal/Rock Liebhaber sollte was dabei sein. Besonders schick find ich das während des Streams keine Werbung eingespielt wird. 24h nonstop Musik!! Ein halben Stern möcht ich dennoch abziehen da das Streaming ordentlich an Datenvolumen frisst. Über Wlan absolut kein Thema, ist man aber unterwegs und auf 3G angewiesen kostet das die halbe Stunde etwa 15mb bei niedriger Einstellung. Aber in Zeiten von Flatrates absolut in Ordnung.

Modern Rock ist einfach nur genial!!!

Ich finde die App einfach spitze. Geile Mucke, diverse Genre, je nach dem, was man gerade braucht. Auch die Klangqualität ist sensationell im Vergleich mit anderen Online-Radios. Kein Buffering und keine Werbung auf dem Ohr. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Die Musik die gespielt wird ist genial, jedoch gehn bei mir mittlerweile 2 Sender nimmer...

Ich liebe die verschiedenen Rockradio-Sound-Stations! Und nun habe ich sie auch noch auf meinen Telefon...! Optimal. Riesengroße Senderauswahl...dazu noch kostenlos...PERFEKT...was will man mehr?!!!

Super App. Viele unterschiedliche Channels, getrennt nach Genre! Wenig Werbung. Kein Gelaber!

Für einen Premium Abo (derzeit 70€/Jahr) unerlässlich, damit die maximal mögliche Qualität empfangen werden kann. Praktisch wäre es, wenn alle im Abo enthaltenen Sender (Radiotunes [früher sky.fm], digitally imported, Rockradio und Jazzradio) verwaltet werden könnten, dann bräuchte man nicht vier Apps.

Can you guys dig deeper on classic rock and play a lot more deeper cuts, and build the classic rock library?

Awesome awesome website to listen to any style of rock or metal people like.

Unlike several other music services apps (Spotify, Pandora, Amazon, Apple Music, YouTube Music and a couple others others) this app must be open or at least in background in order to continue playing music on cast-enabled speakers like Google Nest, Bose Smart speakers etc. I can start streaming with the other apps, then close the app completely or even leave the network or turn the phone off completely, and the music will keep playing. Not the case with this app. Still, however, this app represents an excellent curation of all of the included genres. I highly recommend it.

The just changes stations without any warning. It makes the app unusable in my opinion. I’ll likely delete it and stick with my regular music app.

ROCKRADIO.com reminds me of listening to the radio back in the mid 80’s. They have an excellent variety of genres and songs and the app is very user friendly.

Worth it for background playback. World Music Station would be a great addition!

Multiple channels with great rock! Some of which I’ve never heard before!

This radio station is awesome. It’s multiple stations packaged into one service. You can toggle between different rock music sub-genres. The advertisements on the free version are minimal and there is a ton of mainstream and underground music available. Rock on!

All five apps from D.I. are just exactly perfect! They have the best programmed stations, and if you're a subscriber, they have the best sound quality available. They're all live stations, but they are all original. It's worth checking out!

I’m amazed by how amazing all of your apps are. I have them all downloaded. This one and the jazz radio are my favorites. There’s just so much variety. The only improvement I would like to see would be a gothic station (rock and metal) for bands like Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, The Birthday Massacre, etc.

...for which you'll have the full benefits if you are a premium "Digitally Imported" listener like me, also a MUST HAVE APP. I totally recommend all their apps. Just let yourself waved by the grooves of these professional artists and their pre-selected gem jams, WORRY NOT anymore about self made playlists, just choose your genre and you'll like everything they have in store for us, all that remains for you to do being a tap of the "like" button for the songs that you really love and before you'll know it there will be a nice list of your favorites that you can add in your Apple Music, Spotify, Groove Music or whatever other streaming service you might use in order to re-play'em over and over again until you'll get enough of it. All of Digitally Imported's music apps do not worl on my iPhone 6 running iOS 8.3. Spotify, SIRIUS XM and Pandora do work and therefore I am a happy paying subscriber to those services. Its a shame since I wanted badly to be a paying subscriber to Di, Jazz Radio and Classical Radio but those apps never worked and the company clearly doesnt care.

A great app with awesome sound quality!

Always on my phone, can listen most everywhere, even foreign parts away from the US. Continuous great music from all genres of the rock spectrum. Love it, love it, love it.

You are my favorite music app. Recently it has been cutting in and out FYI. From Texas. Still broadcasting, intermittently. All other apps work fine. Please fix.

Having RockRadio has made my wife and I living in South Korea's existence 100% better. The different channels, the great connection and wonderful selection regardless of the channel you select is magnificent. We particularly like the Rock-Blues and Classic Rock channels. We will definitely have RockRadio once we return to the USA. Thanks RockRadio for making and Expat's life away from home a little bit better each day.

This is a great app with a really great selection of music. But since its latest update, it has been loading very slowly. When l switch to a different channel l will have to wait a while for it to work. I honestly liked the other layout better than the new one, but thats just me. Other than that, l really like it.

Premium subscribers to the AudioAddict family will still have to put up with: Ads Low-bit rate streams Music stopping when switching apps Legacy interface Developers need to consolidate family of offerings into a unified site and app.

I was a premium user, I listen to DI Radio a lot. But also I love progressive rock and the fact that there is no high quality for premium members in this app is unacceptable. I see the changes in DI Radio but what about this service? I see no updates and I seriously believe you just forgot about this app. I am not coming back as a premium user and will uninstall this app.

great app!! very easy to use, its my favorite app

I've been a Premium member of Audio Addict (DI, RadioTunes) for many years. RockRadio is a part of the AudioAddict family, so by default I'm also a premium member here. However until the audio stream is upgraded from 64kbs, to a higher bit rate, I won't keep this app. AudioAddict continues to tell subscribers to their Premium service, that a 320 stream will soon be available for the iPad app, and yet it hasn't happened. Promises with no follow up.

Excellent app i love this radio

I love the awesome selection of metal, but I absolutely HATE that my premium subscription is no good in this app (i.e. I STILL have to listen to commercials). Add this feature, and you'll get ALL five stars. :D

This app is great, not sure why the others are complaining,don't like ads? Then go premium.

Awesome songs, ads can get annoying but you learn to deal with it

I cant switch channels without listen to the same annoying ads for over and over again.
